The PuMP Primer is the ideal introduction!
The PuMP Primer is a short and engaging self-paced introduction to PuMP, followed by an optional face-to-face interactive discussion to explore their involvement.
The PuMP Primer focuses on the ‘why’ and ‘what’ and ‘where’ and ‘when’ of PuMP. But it leaves out the ‘how’. (The ‘how’ is the role of your PuMP Blueprint graduates.)
Many PuMP organisations try to develop their own introductions to PuMP. But that costs time that PuMP Champions could be leading PuMP implementations, and risks not engaging people in the most appropriate way. The PuMP Primer avoids those costs.
The PuMP Primer was designed by PuMP’s creator, Stacey Barr. It is based on her learning from PuMP users around the world about the most common challenges of adopting PuMP organisation-wide.

The PuMP Primer is not a substitute for the PuMP Blueprint, and so we’re not offering it to every organisation with an interest in introducing PuMP.
PuMP Primer participants will not learn any how-to skills in PuMP. They will only become aware of what PuMP is, why it matters and how to get involved in PuMP activities led by a PuMP Blueprint graduate.
We’re offering the PuMP Primer only to organisations that already have at least a few graduates of the full PuMP Blueprint Workshop, so that PuMP can be implemented well.
